In October, Briana (who, incidentally looks not unlike the cartoon woman on her site’s “under construction” page at the time of this writing) and I ventured to California to spend some time in the national parks with good friends. Before leaving the left coast, we stopped in San Francisco (and stayed nearby in a yurt!) for a day.

Note to self: You enjoy long exposures too much not to carry a proper tripod on vacation, Lou. The Gorillapod is punching way above its weight, here.
